DINING RULES (CONDITIONS OF ACCESS)

    
- All Guests enter in the dark room at their own risk and must sign a Release and Waiver of Liability.

- Patrons are required to notify the staff of any and all allergies when they order their meals. They must also remind their guide in the dark room before accepting their plate.

- Patrons are asked to leave their personal belongings in a locker. This includes all coats, bags, or any object that emits light. Watches must stay deep in pockets.

- Patrons may not enter into the darkroom without their guide. They can call their guide at any time but they are not allowed to move without assistance. If they do move without assistance, it is at their own risk, and we accept no responsibility for their actions.

- The dark dining room is under infrared closed circuit television surveillance. Patrons must accept to be under television surveillance.

- Patrons can never be intoxicated in the dark room, and will be asked to leave the room at the first request of their guide. Dans le Noir ? will not serve alcohol to a table where one or more guests are noticeably intoxicated.

- No alcoholic beverages will be served inside the dark room to anyone under the age of twenty-one (21) or to the group or family accompanying someone under the age of twenty-one (21).

- We recommend using the restrooms before entering the dark dining room, so as not to spoil the experience.

- No one under the age of eighteen (18) is permitted in the dark dining room. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

- Patrons are responsible for their clothes and other accessories. The restaurant is not responsible for any accidents, unless a member of our staff is directly responsible.

- The restaurant accepts no liability for damage or loss, except when our staff is directly and indisputably responsible. In any case, patrons must not bring or wear expensive clothes or accessories for this experience (maximum $400).

- In case of an emergency, patrons must always follow the instructions of their guide and remain calm. Safety procedures are in place in order to secure the welfare of our customers.

- Any inappropriate behavior, such as excessive noise is prohibited. Our staff reserves the right to ask to any group to leave the dark room in the case of inappropriate behavior. Unlike other restaurants, all patrons must understand that at Dans le Noir ? they may dine at the same table with other guests. It’s part of the experience to meet other people in darkness.
